I've never practiced yoga before. Is that okay?

Definitely! Please inform the instructor that you are new to yoga, and remember to practice at your own pace.
Yoga is about progress, not perfection.

If you’re unsure where to start, our Slow Flow class is a beautiful introduction. It’s gentle and guided, helping you move mindfully while learning the foundations of yoga.

How often should I practice?

Some committed practitioners can practice yoga 5-6 times each week, but it's important to be mindful of your body and adjust the intensity of your practice daily.
Practising yoga 2-3 times per week can also be very beneficial for those who participate in other sports. Always listen to your body and respect its limits this is a key yoga principle.

Can I practice yoga when I am pregnant?

Always consult your doctor first to ensure it’s safe. Let your instructor know you’re pregnant so they can provide modifications and support.
We also offer a 6-week Prenatal Yoga course, that is designed to safely guide you through pregnancy with gentle, supportive practices.

When is it safe to return to yoga after giving birth?

It is typically safe to resume exercise 12 weeks postpartum; however, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider to evaluate your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles before returning to regular classes.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

Yes, please bring your own mat. If you forget or don’t have one, no stress - we have a few spares available for use.

Do you have showers and amenities at the studio?

We have toilets available, but there are no showers.

What should I do when I arrive for class?

Arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in, settle your mat, and get comfortable.

How should I prepare for my yoga practice?

  • Avoid eating 1–2 hours before your practice.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

  • Bring a towel.

  • A water bottle is recommended, although water is available at the studio.

What if I have an injury or feel unwell?

If you have an injury, please obtain clearance from your doctor before attending class. Always inform your teacher about any injuries at the start of the session. Listen to your body and adjust your movements as needed.

If you have a cold or flu, please stay home to protect yourself and others. Remember to cancel your class booking. Please note that we cannot restore credits or waive late cancellation or no-show fees for cancellations due to illness.
