At Dreams Yoga, we respect and value the privacy of our community, including students, customers, suppliers, contractors, and employees (“you” and when relating to you, “your”) and complying with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

1.1 (e) If you are an employee or prospective employee, information about your qualifications, skills, and work experience;
1.1 (f) If you are a supplier or prospective supplier, information about your business skills, services, products, and prices.

2.1 We may collect personal information in a number of ways, including when:
2.1 (a) You contact us with a question or inquiry;
2.1 (b) You sign up for our newsletter or promotions;
2.1 (c) You attend a class, workshop, retreat, or other event hosted by us;
2.1 (d) You visit our website or interact with our social media.
2.2 If you are a client and do not provide us with the necessary contact or health information, we may not be able to provide the services you require.
2.3 If you do not provide us with accurate personal information, we may not be able to offer the best service or achieve the purpose for which the information has been sought.

3.1 (b) Provide yoga and wellness services;
3.1 (c) Ensure we offer the best experience in our classes, workshops, and events;
3.1 (d) Employ qualified and diligent personnel;
3.1 (e) Let you know about yoga developments, new classes, workshops, retreats, and services that may be of interest to you.
3.2 We may share personal information only where necessary:
3.2 (a) In order to carry out your bookings, attendances, and requests; and
3.2 (b) Subject to our confidentiality obligations, when using services in support of our business operations.
THE PARTIES TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS DISCLOSED
4.1 Where appropriate and subject to confidentiality requirements, we may share personal information with:
4.1 (a) Teachers, instructors, and other relevant staff to deliver the services you request;
4.1 (b) Third-party service providers such as marketing services, payment processors, website hosts, and event organizers who assist us in managing our operations;
4.1 (c) Our email marketing provider for the purposes of sending newsletters, invitations, and updates on our services and events.
4.2 WE WILL ALSO DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION IF REQUIRED BY LAW TO DO SO OR IN CIRCUMSTANCES PERMITTED BY THE PRIVACY ACT – for example, where we have reasonable grounds to suspect unlawful activity or misconduct that relates to our functions or activities.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE JURISDICTION OF COLLECTION
5.1 We generally do not disclose personal information to overseas recipients. If this changes, we will take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients comply with Australian privacy laws.
OPTING OUT OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 We may, from time to time, send you newsletters, invitations, and updates about our services. You can opt out of receiving further communications by notifying us using the contact details below or by clicking the “unsubscribe” option at the bottom of any marketing email received from us.
SECURITY
7.1 Protecting your personal and payment information is important to us at Dreams Yoga. We take website and credit card security extremely seriously and have in place security measures that provide the highest level of protection available.
All credit card details are encrypted and never made visible.
We do not store your credit card details.

ACCESS/CORRECTION/UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION
8.1 You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting us. Unless we are subject to confidentiality obligations or some other restriction on giving access to the information and we are permitted to refuse you access under the Privacy Act, we will endeavor to make your information available to you within 30 days.
8.2 If you request to correct your personal information, we will correct, or if more appropriate, note your request for amendment on your record.
8.3 We will not charge you to make a request to access your record but may charge you to actually provide access depending on the costs associated with obtaining and providing the material.
8.4 These actions can usually be taken by contacting a customer relations representative using the contact information on the “Contact Us” section of our website.
NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES
9.1 If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will send you a copy of our revised policy or post a copy on our website.
